What changed
Until now, every workspace without a custom domain shared one host for its links: go.linkforty.com. Sharing a host means sharing everything that happens on it — including the reputation that browsers, mail providers and network filters attach to it, earned by everyone who ever used it.
Every workspace now has a host of its own on toapp.me, named after the workspace:

You can see yours, and copy it, under Settings → Domains.
What does not change
Your existing links keep working, and they always will. go.linkforty.com is not going anywhere and there is no deadline. A link you printed on a flyer last year resolves today exactly as it did then.
If you use a custom domain, it stays the default for your links. Your LinkForty domain sits underneath it, for links that have no domain of their own.
What you get if you switch
A reputation that is only yours. Each label is a separate host to the outside world. Whatever another workspace does on its label does not touch yours.
Universal Links and App Links, without a custom domain. The association files iOS and Android look for are served on your host from your workspace's App Configuration — the same way they are on a custom domain. Add applinks:acme.toapp.me to your app's Associated Domains and the host to your Android intent filter, ship a build, and links open your app directly. On the shared host that was never possible.
How to switch
Open Settings → Domains, find Your LinkForty domain, and turn on Use as the default for new links. From then on, new links are created on your host, and the dashboard and API show your existing links on it too — while the old URLs keep resolving. Turn it off again any time.
Workspaces created from today start on their host automatically.
One thing to know
The label is permanent. It is the hostname on every link you will share, so it cannot be renamed later — releasing it would let another workspace take over links you had already handed out. New workspaces choose it when they are created; existing ones were given the name their workspace suggested.
